Every relationship, habit, success, disappointment, act of worship, and moment of suffering shapes us into who we are. The question I seek to explore is who. Who are we being shaped into? And how? That's what this site is about.

I'm Dustin DeJong. I'm a follower of Jesus, a husband, a father, a pastor, and a writer reflecting on grace, formation, story, and life with God. I've always been fascinated by how people change. Why do some grow while others stay stuck? Why does transformation take longer than we expect? How do our stories shape us? What does it look like to follow Jesus in the ordinary rhythms of life?

Here, you will find reflections on those questions, rooted in Scripture and lived out through experiences along the way.

I am married to Lori, and together we raise three children. We enjoy exploring Southern Arizona and discovering great food and drinks wherever we can find it.

I serve as a pastor at New Life Bible Fellowship in Tucson, AZ. I earned a Master of Divinity from Gateway Seminary and previously studied ministry at Hope International University and Grand Canyon University.
